I always find that I'm cutting recipes in half (or in quarters) because most recipes are designed for a 4-person family. I can't eat that much food, even if I share some with the rats (pet rats)
and save it for leftovers! Here's a nice cheat sheet I found on pinterest:
How about making the full recipe and freezing some of it? I never bothered doing this when I cooked for two people, but it makes a ton of sense when cooking for one =)
ReplyDeleteSome recipes don't freeze very well and I tend to get sick of the same food if I make too much of it and then it just sits in my freezer forever... And also if I just make half the recipe I can use those ingredients for other food!
